(KRON) — A man was killed Thursday morning after the pickup truck he was driving went off a Sonoma County backroad, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the driver was traveling southbound on Riebli Road at around 10:05 a.m. before leaving the east side of the roadway just south of Foothill Ranch Road. The Ford F-150 pickup truck came to a stop 10 to 15 feet down an embankment.
“Despite the quick response of emergency personnel, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene,” CHP wrote.
