WORCESTER – The city’s watering holes were permitted to serve alcohol until 3 a.m. from June 11 to July 31 after the License Commission opted into a bill that modified allowed closing times.
Bars will now return to cutting off customers at 2 a.m. The modification was intended to encourage residents to celebrate the country’s 250th anniversary and the FIFA World Cup.
