AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A Potter County jury sentenced an Amarillo man to life in prison for shooting and paralyzing a man during a 2023 robbery.
Johnny Michie Jr. was convicted of aggravated robbery. The jury also imposed a $10,000 fine.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. April 5, 2023, at the Grand Garden Apartments at 2500 South Spring Street. Amarillo police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and took him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries…
