El Paso deputies seizes nearly 120 kilograms of cocaine worth an estimated $4 million

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says investigators seized nearly 120 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated street value of $4 million during a targeted interdiction operation this week.

According to the sheriff’s office, members of the Gang and Narcotics Unit conducted the operation on July 29 involving a commercial tractor-trailer as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.

Investigators seized approximately 119.8 kilograms of cocaine, $7,000 in U.S. currency, and the tractor-trailer believed to have been used in connection with the suspected drug trafficking operation…
