EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A 17-year-old has been arrested after allegedly driving recklessly and causing a rollover crash in the parking lot of newly constructed warehouses in east El Paso County.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded on July 29 to the 12200 block of Ashtabula Avenue following reports of a vehicle speeding and performing doughnuts in the parking lot.
Investigators determined the driver was operating the vehicle at a high rate of speed while performing multiple 360-degree turns before losing control. The vehicle struck a curb and rolled over.
Deputies said six passengers were also inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. Despite the rollover, all seven occupants suffered only minor injuries.
Following the investigation, deputies identified 17-year-old Kaely Ochoa as the driver and obtained a warrant for her arrest…
