UPDATE: Tornado watch remains in effect for many counties west of St. Louis. A tornado watch has cleared Gasconade, Osage and Callaway counties as of 6:30 p.m.
ST. LOUIS – A tornado watch has been issued for several Missouri counties in the western St. Louis region through late Friday evening.
The tornado watch is now in effect through 11 p.m. Friday. It includes, but is not entirely limited to: Franklin, Lincoln, Warren Washington, Dent, Gasconade, Iron, Montgomery, Pike and Phelps counties.
As of 3:45 p.m., St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Jefferson County and the Metro East are not part of the tornado watch…
