A Heat Advisory remains in effect for the Anchorage area through Saturday evening as unusually warm temperatures continue.
The National Weather Service says highs between 72 and 80 degrees are expected across the Anchorage Bowl, including Eagle River, Chugiak, Birchwood, Girdwood, and the East Turnagain Arm.
