MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – A Boone County man was arrested on Monday in connection with the theft of an RV in Montgomery County, reportedly saying that God gave it to him.
Julian Adkins, 61, of Burlington is charged with one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition of an automobile between $10,000 and $1 million.
Adkins allegedly tried to take the RV on July 24 but was notified by law enforcement that its rightful owner was coming to claim it, according to an arrest citation.
A deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office tracked the RV and Adkins to a campground in Powell County with the help of the Stanton Police Department and the Wolfe County Sheriff’s Office…
