On October 7, 2008, Curb Records released a limited edition, three volume set of Tim McGraw’s Greatest Hits. It includes 43 tracks. Since then McGraw has added six more number 1 and eight more top 10 country radio hits to his catalogue.
To call Tim McGraw a country music legend is to somehow still do a disservice to his musical career and cultural reach. Sixteen studio albums, dozens of number 1 hits, the namesake of Taylor Swift’s debut single, playing Kevin Costner’s great grandfather in the Yellowstone series: there is little left for McGraw to accomplish.
