OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Construction for the Omaha streetcar project continues to move through the Midtown area, bringing orange barricades and work crews to Farnam Street.
Behind those barricades, The Frame Service remains open for business — even as the construction makes access to the shop difficult.
Three decades of change
Rebecca Boylan has owned The Frame Service for more than 30 years and has watched the neighborhood around 36th and Farnam change over that time.
“We came up here during a quiet time in this neighborhood,” Boylan said. “Some years after we moved up, Mutual of Omaha decided to expand south — their campus grew.”…
