The Erie Rainbow Bridge Pet Memorial Garden in Scott Park was built in the fall of last year for families to remember beloved pets— now, volunteers are working to repair tire marks left across the bridge.
“They’re not just ride over the bridge tracks, they’re intentional skid marks, and they are very difficult to come up,” said Debbie Garcia, the Rainbow Bridge coordinator.
“I just can’t believe that hey, you know, people don’t listen to signs, they pretty much do what they want,” said Thomas Okeefe, a Rainbow Bridge visitor. “I mean, it’s a shame to see what they did to it.”…
