CLEVELAND, Ohio — Ohio regulators received 432 underground-utility safety complaints in 2025, more than 2½ times the number filed a year earlier.
The state’s Underground Technical Committee reviewed 279 cases and found violations in 251, or 90%, according to its 2025 damage-prevention report.
