COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Dozens of free movie screenings are scheduled for August as part of the statewide Ohio Goes to the Movies celebration, marking the nation’s 250th anniversary.
The August lineup is part of more than 250 free screenings planned in all 88 counties through October. Nearly every week is filled with events across the state, highlighting films connected to Ohio through actors, directors, writers, or filming locations.
“Each venue selected its own movie from our Ohio Movie Database,” said OGTTM program director Molly Kreuzman. “Every film shown has an Ohio connection, either through its production in the state, the involvement of Ohioans on screen or behind the scenes, or centered on the life of a notable Ohioan.”…
