WEST EARL TWP, PA — Traffic is flowing normally again on northbound Route 222 in Lancaster County after repairs to the bridge over Church Street were completed, though motorists should continue to expect lane closures and delays on the southbound bridge as work continues.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that restrictions on the northbound bridge near the Route 772 (Brownstown/Rothsville) interchange have been lifted. Crews remain at work on the southbound structure, where lane restrictions will stay in place until repairs are finished.
The bridge work is part of an $8.49 million pavement preservation project covering a 3.3-mile section of Route 222 through Manheim, Warwick and West Earl townships…
