In Ruskin, Florida, a 57-year-old man managed to make two: he allegedly broke into a boat cabin to steal power tools, and he did it while wearing a bright red and blue Superman-themed beach coverup. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called out on July 25 after a boat owner reported that someone had broken into their cabin and made off with several power tools. Anyone who has ever owned a boat, a truck, or a garage full of gear knows the sinking feeling of realizing your tools have walked off without you.
When deputies tracked down James Tidwell, they found him still dressed head to toe as the Man of Steel, reported Fox 8. Bodycam footage released by the sheriff’s office shows the encounter, and reportedly, Tidwell admitted to the theft on camera.
