GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – India Day is returning to downtown Greenville in August with an all-day celebration of culture, food, fashion and live entertainment.
The event, organized by the India Association of Greenville, marks India’s Independence Day. It will take place Saturday, Aug. 15, near the Peace Center. Admission is free.
What to expect
The celebration includes a grand parade, Bollywood dance performances, a Bollywood dance party, an Indian celebrities fashion show and kid-friendly activities. Ethnic jewelry will also be on display.
The parade begins at 10:30 a.m.
