SHREWSBURY – Amanda Behen knew she wanted to be an educator from the start.
As a 7-year-old student, she asked her teacher if she needed help setting up her classroom over the summer. At home, she tried her best to become a teacher herself, frequently “playing school” with her two younger siblings.
