21-year-old dies in single-vehicle accident after driving 90 to 100 mph

A 21-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night after he lost control of his truck while speeding, Castle Hill police said.

The driver was headed south on Northwest Military Highway, traveling 90 to 100 mph, when he approached a T-intersection, police said. He lost control of his truck, which tipped onto its side before rolling over a wall and dropping around 18 feet onto a Loop 410 access road. The driver died at the scene.
