Rain forecasted all week in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — There is a stationary front, oriented north-south, dividing the North Carolina Piedmont from the mountains.

On the west side of the front, temperatures are headed into the mid-70s, while on the east side of the front, highs will be in the mid-80s. We have a 40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms today, and the humidity is stifling across the Piedmont.

The front is expected to stay locked over the western Piedmont through Wednesday. Highs will stay in the lower- to mid-80s with high humidity, and on Tuesday and Wednesday, there is a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms…
