Augusta to hold three public meetings on the Draft Data Center Ordinance

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Augusta’s Planning and Development Department will hold three public meetings to receive community feedback on the Draft Data Center Ordinance.

According to the city, the meetings will provide residents, property owners, business owners and other community stakeholders with an opportunity to learn more about the proposed ordinance, ask questions and provide feedback before the document is finalized.

The public meeting schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, August 10, 2026, at 6 p.m.

  • Monday, August 31, 2026, at 6 p.m.
    • Robert Howard Community Center

    • 300 Warren Road
    • Augusta, GA 30907
