Five people were transported to UPMC Hamot following a late-night fire on Ash Street near East Seventh Street on July 30, according to Erie Fire Marshal Donald Sauer.
On August 3 authorities have released a new update on the victims injured in the recent Ash Street fire, including encouraging news about a young child who was among those transported for treatment.
