HIGH POINT, N.C. — Officers with the High Point Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested three people, including two juveniles, in connection with a weekend shooting, according to police.
During the investigation, officers recovered three firearms, including two pistols that had been modified with conversion devices, known as switches, allowing them to fire as fully automatic weapons.
Patrol officers responded to the area of West Green Drive and Langford Avenue around 12:15 a.m. Sunday for a report of shots fired. Officers found a disabled car with no one inside. The car had been reported stolen out of Greensboro. Officers found bullet holes and shell casings on the vehicle, indicating an exchange of gunfire had taken place…
