Six months after one of Adams County’s most elusive predators was struck by a vehicle, the wild feline has been returned to the Adams County countryside.
On Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, the Raven Ridge Wildlife Center in Lancaster announced that the center had successfully rehabilitated and released the adult female bobcat that had been brought to the center after it was struck by a car in Adams County on Feb. 14, 2026.
“This was an incredibly humbling rehabilitation experience for our team,” the center said in its release about the release, “and it was deeply emotional to see her free once more.”
