SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Five men who were allegedly operating drug houses in Oakland and dealing narcotics in San Francisco were taken into custody, police announced Monday. Authorities said they uncovered more than 8 pounds of narcotics in searches of the homes connected to the suspects.
The suspects were identified by the San Francisco Police Department as:
- Wilmer Mendez-Raudales, 19, of Oakland
- Nestor Quinonez-Cubas, 21, of Oakland
- Nestor Reyes-Palma, 22, of Oakland
- Francisco Cruz, 26, of Oakland
- Eduardo Linares, 33, of Oakland
On Wednesday, July 29, SFPD investigators conducting surveillance watched all five suspects driving into San Francisco in one vehicle, police said. The suspect vehicle stopped in the area of Second and Mission streets and the suspects boarded a Muni bus. Officers boarded the bus and detained the suspects.
According to police, officers searched the five suspects and uncovered narcotics and evidence of narcotics sales.
Officers executing search warrants at four residences in Oakland seized narcotics packaging equipment, packaging supplies, a rifle and shotgun, two handguns, body armor, over $10,000 in cash, digital scales and money counters, in addition to the 8 pounds of narcotics, SFPD said…
