UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. — One person was shot and another was injured during a domestic-related incident Monday evening in University City.
According to the University City Police Department, officers responded around 5 p.m. to the 900 block of Gay Avenue to a report of a domestic incident.
When officers got there, they saw two people involved in the incident. During the altercation, one person suffered from a gunshot wound and was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that police believe to be non life-threatening. The second person was also taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as well.
