Restaurants that have been around for so long inevitably become a part of people’s lives, like Noy’s Thai Bistro, a San Antonio-area restaurant that’s served customers for 15 years. Soon, the local eatery will close for good, but the goodbye is bittersweet for the couple behind the business, who are preparing to retire.
On May 26, Noy’s Thai Bistro announced on its Instagram page that it would be closing its doors in Universal City. At the time, the announcement said customers still had months to visit Noy’s Thai Bistro before it ended its 15-year run.
“For those inquiring — Noy’s Thai Food Bistro in Universal City is closing — but not until the end of August 2026. The owners are retiring. Come see us until then for the best Thai food around,” the business said in the post…
