Big Head Todd, Everclear, The SteelDrivers, Cimafunk Headlining Rebranded Boulder Roots Fest, Tulagi

Tulagi, the festival formerly known as Boulder Roots Music Fest, has revealed its full lineup and schedule for its return to downtown Boulder, CO’s Pearl Street August 27th–30th. The citywide festival will bring more than 160 musical acts to 20-plus venues within walking distance [get tickets].

Launched in 2025 as Boulder Roots Music Fest, the event quickly outgrew its original vision. As it expanded into a broader celebration of Boulder’s creative community, organizers introduced a new identity inspired by the former Tulagi music venue, a historic University Hill club that helped shape the city’s live music scene for decades.

This year’s lineup is led by Boulder, CO’s own Big Head Todd and the Monsters, alt-rock mainstays Everclear, Nashville bluegrass outfit The SteelDrivers, Afro-Cuban sensation Cimafunk, and a strong showing of Denver’s finest with avante collective itchy-O, producer Maddy O’Neal, and rising jamgrass band Magoo. The full lineup spans funk, bluegrass, electronic, hip-hop, jam, indie rock, soul, and much more, with additional performances from Ryan Montbleu, Mike Dillon Band with Kris Myers (formerly of Umphrey’s McGee), Marfa, Night Breeze, Madeline Hawthorne, The Sweet Lillies, Rob Drabkin.
