Big things are happening for the samosa pop-up this year.
Locals of Ypsilanti will soon get a new Somali cuisine option as Samosa House is set to open at 16 S Washington Street this year. This will be a takeout-only location for now. The team is putting the finishing touches on the restaurant, and owner Khadija Hassan told What Now Detroit she is also planning a brick-and-mortar in the future.
Hassan started Samosa House in 2017 and has been serving the Somali cuisine staple to the community ever since. She participates in pop-ups and food events regularly, including the Ann Arbor Asian Night Market earlier this summer…
