MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A woman who was injured in a crash on Highway 53 in June is suing the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the deputy who hit her, killing one of her passengers.
Court documents state that Mardasha Woods is suing MCSO and Christopher Cahoon, the deputy she said hit her vehicle, for negligence and recklessness.
The lawsuit claims that Cahoon was driving at least 114 miles an hour, traveling north on Highway 53. The document said that as she turned left onto the highway, the deputy hit her vehicle…
