OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – A man was arrested after attempting to flee on foot when Marion County deputies attempted to pull him over during a traffic stop. He was suspected of driving a stolen vehicle.
Chad Cordrey, 39, was spotted driving a stole Nissan Altima near NE Jacksonville Road and 35th Street. As deputies attempted to pull Cordrey over, one deputy laid out stop sticks and popped his tires. Cordrey drove until his tires fell off, deputies say.
He exited the vehicle and ran away on foot. A Marion County Sheriff’s Office helicopter tracked Cordrey as he ran through the woods…
