TULSA, Okla. – Woodland Hills Mall celebrated its 50th anniversary Tuesday, marking five decades as northeastern Oklahoma’s only indoor shopping mall.
The mall has served as a destination for shopping, dining and entertainment while supporting local businesses, creating jobs, generating tax revenue and providing a gathering place for generations of families.
A Tulsa landmark
Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols said the mall has become an important part of the city’s identity since opening 50 years ago.
