CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A crash has injured three people and is causing major traffic delays Wednesday morning.
The crash happened before 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 5 on Interstate 77 near Exit 1A for Westinghouse Boulevard. All southbound lanes are closed just past the exit, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Medic says three people were taken to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, one with serious injuries and two others with non-life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear when the interstate is expected to reopen or what led to the crash…
