EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Crews from the Evansville Fire Department have been working for several hours overnight, as they dealt with a huge fire.
The call came in around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday for a fire in the 700 block of Rhinelander Avenue.
You could actually see huge plumes of smoke from the 14 Towercam at the WFIE studios.
At one point, emergency crews asked our news crews at the scene to stay back as much as possible, due to the massive flames coming from that site. We know that CenterPoint Energy has been on the scene for several hours to assess the situation…
