Ford Center water bill surpass expected costs

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — A new water meter is set to be put in the Ford Center after it says it’s been dealing with rising water costs for close to a decade.

During an Evansville Redevelopment Commission meeting, Ford Center officials revealed that for the month of July one million gallons of water was used, causing the bill to surpass expected costs.

Officials say they cannot find a cause for the increase, but acknowledge that water usage has been an issue for years…
