NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Some parents in Aiken County say schools are nearing capacity before major housing developments are finished, raising questions about how the school district will handle an influx of new students.
North Augusta parent Melanie DeWolfee said she is concerned the district is not prepared for what may come.
“What do they have planned to combat this if this growth does mushroom? Because it’s going to mushroom,” DeWolfee said.
