The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Women in Business luncheon started like many successful community gatherings: with handshakes, hugs, exchanged business cards and professionals reconnecting before the program began.
By the time featured speaker Angela S. Martin stepped up to deliver her message, “Be Bold, Be Beautiful, Be Balanced,” at Tanglewood House on July 29, the room was full of energy. The monthly event hosted by the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce brought local professionals together for an afternoon of encouragement, practical perspective and the kind of connection that continues long after lunch is over.
For Martin, the theme was more than the title of her presentation. It was an invitation for women leading teams, raising families and pursuing their own goals to remember their worth in the middle of it all.
“Being bold means having the confidence to know your value and use your voice,” Martin said. “Being beautiful isn’t about appearance; it’s about the character, authenticity and kindness that shine from within. And being balanced is recognizing that you can’t pour into everyone else if your own cup is empty.”
