Burlington man charged with exploitation of a minor

BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — A man has been charged with child sex crimes after an investigation in the Triad.

According to the Invictus Task Force, they began investigating a cyber tip in July 2026 that led them to identify Rodney James Carl, 55, of Burlington, as a suspect.
