York County will conduct mosquito control operations Wednesday evening in parts of Springettsbury Township, Manchester Township and York City in response to elevated populations of mosquitoes capable of transmitting West Nile virus.
The York County Mosquito and Tick-Borne Disease Control Program will spray affected areas beginning around sunset Aug. 5. Crews will apply treatments from trucks in North Hills Park in Springettsbury Township, along Clugston Road in York City, and at Nittany Park, Stillmeadow Park and Eagles View in Manchester Township.
