Two suspects in a Santander Bank heist in Providence, who previously had state charges against them dropped, have been taken into custody in New York, the NBC 10 I-Team has learned.
Tracey Delgado, who worked at the bank, and her boyfriend Stanley Palmer are now in custody, Providence Police Maj. David Lapatin confirmed to NBC 10 on Wednesday morning.
Investigators said about $500,000 was stolen from a vault at the Federal Hill branch of Santander Bank on Atwells Avenue in June 2023 in what was apparently an inside job.
