Six Philly ‘All Money Counts’ Musicians Busted in $70K Identity-Theft Spree, AG Says

Six Philadelphia men are facing charges after authorities say a music group called All Money Counts evolved into a local identity-theft operation targeting dozens of victims. Investigators allege the group hacked phones and email accounts, stole identities, created fake IDs and used stolen financial information to spend more than $70,000.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office says the alleged scheme involved more than 40 victims and a wide range of tactics. As reported by 6abc Philadelphia, Attorney General Dave Sunday said the group began as a musical venture before branching into what prosecutors describe as a criminal enterprise aimed at taking money however it could.

How The Alleged Identity-Theft Operation Worked

Pennsylvania’s official identity-theft guidance describes stolen personal and financial information as a tool criminals can use to open accounts, make unauthorized purchases or otherwise impersonate victims. That warning is particularly relevant here, because prosecutors say All Money Counts assembled personal data through a mix of digital hacking and old-fashioned vehicle break-ins.

According to the criminal complaint report, the group compiled stolen information between May and October 2024. Investigators say some of the suspects were recorded using a credit card reported stolen after a car break-in at a Home Depot in Port Richmond, while two Philadelphia residences allegedly served as operational headquarters…
