LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff on Friday.
Sanders said flags will be at half-staff on that day as World War II soldier William Keele will be laid to rest in Fort Smith.
Keele was killed on July 16, 1942, at the Cabanatuan Prisoner of War Camp in the Philippines, not long after being subjected to the 65-mile Bataan Death March into captivity. He was 24 years old.
