Conroe ISD is set to consider approving a balanced $770 million budget later this month, as trustees agree the district needs to boost enrollment and student attendance to increase state funding.
The budget is a slight increase over its current $761 million; however, the district has proposed keeping its tax rate at 94.96 cents per $100 of taxable property valuation.
