Westfield Washington Schools (WWS) officially celebrated the opening of its new Transportation Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Aug. 4, marking a necessary upgrade in the district’s ability to safely and efficiently serve a growing number of students and families in the Westfield community.
Located at 17900 Towne Road (adjacent to Westfield Middle School West – opening in the 2027-2028 school year), the new Transportation Center provides the district’s transportation team with a modern facility designed to support daily operations, driver training, and the continued growth of one of the district’s most essential services.
“This Transportation Center represents an important investment in the future of Westfield Washington Schools,” said Rebecca Ogle, president of the WWS Board of School Trustees. “It marks a new chapter for our transportation operations as the team can take advantage of a space built specifically to support their important mission of transporting students safely and efficiently.”…
