Marcus’ 4 a.m. Thursday forecast
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Scattered showers and storms will bring the potential for localized flooding through Friday night. Heat and humidity will build this weekend before heat index values approach 100 degrees early next week.
Today
Scattered showers and storms will develop through the afternoon, with the best chances across eastern parts of the state.
Some of these storms could produce heavy rainfall. Because we’ve seen multiple rounds of rain this week, the ground is already saturated in many areas. This raises the concern for localized flash flooding, particularly where storms stall or train over the same locations.
Highs today will range from low to mid 80s with the increase in cloud cover today.
Tonight
Spotty showers, with a few rumbles of thunder will linger into the evening hours, mainly in eastern and southern counties…
