PARSONS, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office said a man was arrested Monday after he threatened and fired a rifle at deputies as they tried to serve an arrest warrant on him.
DCSO said deputies responded to a home in the 400 block of Little Jackson Lane just after noon on Monday to serve a warrant on Robert Weems, who was wanted out of Dickson County for failure to appear on felony and misdemeanor charges.
When deputies arrived, DCSO said Weems initially came outside and spoke with deputies, but he later went back inside and retrieved a rifle, which he then allegedly pointed at deputies…
