GAINESVILLE, Fla. – “Dark nights” is the music industry’s term for dates at venues that aren’t booked by shows, when a venue is typically closed down, locked up, lights out. We are excited to announce that starting August 7th, there will be no dark nights at Heartwood, Wednesdays-Saturdays. Our bar will be open with new hours, 6-9:30 p.m., show or no show, bringing the community together and serving drinks along with free activities. These times will feature happy hour specials and a discounted menu priced for locals.
The goal is for our bar and porch to be a third space for the community, where you can meet friends for a beer or a kombucha after work, where you can share a bottle of wine with a date at sunset, and where you feel comfortable coming alone for a nightcap in good company before ending your day…
