MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Residents at a Milwaukee retirement community are helping police connect with children across the city.
Officers from Milwaukee Police Department District 1 visited Clement Manor to collect 50 bags filled with toys and coloring supplies assembled by residents.
Police plan to distribute the bags to children attending the district’s National Night Out event Friday. Officers can also keep the bags in their squad cars and give them to children they meet while working in the community…
