Wizard of Oz’s first year at Sphere in Las Vegas boasts $450M, 3.6M guests, and 675K apples

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — It’s been nearly a year since Las Vegas went off to see the wizard, and since then, over $450 million in tickets have been sold to more than 3.6 million guests who’ve taken the journey to Oz on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, a groundbreaking immersive experience at the Strip venue, opened on Aug. 28, 2025. The experience has since been shown more than 850 times.

Since its debut, the show has become a global destination, with guests traveling from all 50 states and over 140 countries to “immerse themselves with Dorothy and friends in the Land of Oz in a way only Sphere can provide.”
