HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A Huntsville man is behind bars after crashing his vehicle into two separate downtown buildings early Thursday morning while allegedly driving under the influence, according to police.
Alan Severino Manon, 30, was arrested and booked into the Madison County Jail for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Huntsville Police officers responded to a single-vehicle wreck on the 800 block of Monroe Street around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle had crashed directly into the front of a building.
The driver, identified as Manon, had already exited the vehicle and was detained by officers at the scene.
Investigators later determined that the incident began in the 100 block of Washington Street, where Manon allegedly struck a building before leaving the area and subsequently crashing into the second building on Monroe Street…
