LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Music will once again fill the streets of Lansing’s Old Town neighborhood as JazzFest continues.
The festival kicked off Wednesday and continues to run throughout the weekend. The event draws music lovers from all across the region, with it being one of Michigan’s premiere music festivals.
This year the festival expanded to five days, which organizers say will be filled with performances from world class jazz musicians on multiple stages — including the newly renovated Fish Ladder Amphitheatre. Organizers also say that the event encourages people to experience the city’s music scene, along with supporting local businesses in the area.

During JazzFest, you can expect entertainment from dozens of performers all around the country, including:

- Detroit Jazz Project
- Lansing Concert Big Band
- School of Rock
- Max Gage Trio
- Tom Buffield
